Terms of use
Learning and contributing fairly
DataStudyGuides is operated by Edwin van Boven. Last updated: 4 October 2026.
A free, independent study service
These terms apply to the DataStudyGuides website, API and Data Study Guides plugin. Studying, contributing and reviewing are free. The plugin does not sell products, process payments or make purchases. DataStudyGuides is independent of Microsoft and other certification providers.
Your account and your assistant
Use an account you are entitled to use and keep its credentials private. The contributor connection lets your assistant create and update your own community courses under your display name. Ask it to review changes before submitting them. It does not give you permission to change another author's course or official exam content. You can disconnect the assistant or contact the maintainer to revoke its access.
Original contributions
Submit only material you created or have permission to share. Do not submit real or leaked exam questions, exam dumps, copied practice assessments, confidential information, passwords or other people's personal data. Support factual claims with reliable sources. AI-assisted material must be checked by the contributor before submission. Do not use the service for spam, harassment, unlawful content or attempts to bypass access controls.
Your work stays yours
You retain the rights you hold in your contribution. By submitting it, you give DataStudyGuides non-exclusive permission to store, display, format and deliver it through the website, API and plugin to provide the service. This permission does not place your work under a general open-content licence or grant others unrestricted republication rights. You can update or withdraw your own course; withdrawal and erasure are different, as explained in the privacy notice.
Moderation and reviews
Ordinary community submissions pass an automated abuse check. A passing course can be published immediately; held courses wait for a maintainer. Trusted contributors may publish without that check. Neither automatic moderation nor schema validation verifies factual correctness. Reviews submitted as course feedback go to the maintainer; they are not public approval votes or direct messages to the author. The maintainer may hold or remove content and restrict accounts to enforce these rules. Use the feedback form to report an error or ask for reconsideration.
Use study material with care
Study cards and practice questions may contain mistakes or become outdated. They are learning aids, not real exam questions, professional advice or a guarantee of passing an exam. Check current information with the certification provider. Service features and availability may change. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
Privacy and support
Read the privacy notice for information about accounts, connected assistants, moderation and removal. Use the feedback form for support, rights concerns, privacy requests or questions about these terms. Include a contact address if you need a reply.
